Four Planets Dance through Air Sign Libra

September 30, 2013

Libras, “can we talk”? There is so much intense astrological energy flowing through your birth chart right now.

We have previously discussed how Saturn (your best planet, but nonetheless, it still stands for delays, obstacles and grief) has been impacting you since August 3, 2012,  and that it was joined by malefic Rahu (north node of the Moon) on January 14, 2013.  Rahu is called “the Seizer” because it seizes and lets go, causing “spasms” or what may feel like “little earthquakes” throughout your entire life. This one-two punch was exacerbated when Mars moved into its Debilitation sign of Cancer on August 18th, and was “aspecting” (looking at) Rahu and Saturn , while exalted Saturn was looking back at him!  Those two are considered “great enemies”, by the way.  At least Mars has now progressed enough into this sign so that the closeness of the degrees has lessened. Many folks will feel the relief once Mars moves into LEO (a friend’s sign for him) on October 5th – this includes those with the following Ascendents or Moon signs: Cancer, Capricorn, Libra and Scorpio.

On September 5, 2013, benefic VENUS joined Saturn, Rahu and Mercury in Libra.  This can strengthen and bring some relief to those with Libra Rising or Libra Moons. However, Venus also owns your 8th house of Transformation and Vulnerability… haven’t you already been feeling enough of that, through Rahu’s influence??  Well, Venus moves to your 2nd house of family, wealth and communication on October 2nd, which should bring some positive energy to these areas of your life.

Mercury moved into Libra on September 24, 2013 which could impact the Virgos and Geminis of the Zodiac.  Libra is a friend’s sign for Mercury and the houses, respectively, are also good…it’s just that the conjunction with malefics Saturn and Rahu can feel intense.  Mercury will also go into Retrograde on October 21st for 3 weeks, but we’ll discuss that more next month!  We shall also have a partial Lunar Eclipse to discuss for next month, that occurs on October 18th and will be visible in America.

To sum up, there remains much intense planetary movement per the Vedic Astrology system, for the next couple of months, as discussed in my last Blog report.  Please keep in mind that the “coast is not clear” until about the middle of November.

As usual please feel free to forward this blog post to others, and I appreciate referrals. A Fiery Planet Line-up in Fire Sign Aries…and Full Moon lunar eclipse 4/25/13

April 10, 2013

Planets Pushing their way into Aries – many are Combust the Sun right now

“Folks, what we have now is a real situation….”  There are astrological times that call for sounding the alarm. This is one of them, in my opinion. I shall explain:

At the current time we have tricky, malefic Ketu in the fire sign of Aries, along with the Moon and just today, Venus has joined them.  The proverbial “fireworks” happen a little later in the month.

Just a few days prior to the 4/25 partial lunar eclipse – which occurs in the Air sign Libra, in the Vedic system – here’s the celestial vision that we have to contemplate:

4/12/2013 -MARS moves into its own sign of Aries, where it is very strong.

4/13/2013 – SUN movies into Aries, its sign of Exaltation, where it is strongest.

So at that point, we’ll have Mars completely, totally combust the Sun (i.e. traveling in the same degree as the Sun). This, after we had to deal with a Mars/Venus planetary war going on for several days, around April 8th.  VENUS also is and will continue to be, combust the Sun.

For quite some time, I have been concerned about negative, malefic RAHU (north node of the Moon) moving into Air Sign Libra, to join already powerful malefic SATURN, who is now also Retrograde, in addition to being in its sign of Exaltation, so he could hardly get more powerful. Rahu (moved into Libra 1/14/2013) causes chaos and highly unpredictable situations, while Saturn causes grief. Because this is an Air sign…my concern has been of possible “grief and chaos coming from the skies.”

Now imagine this — there are enemies sitting across the room from you, staring “daggers at you”. Well, we have the planetary equivalent of this, coming up, when MOON joins Rahu and Saturn in Libra, directly across from the 4 planets that will be in Aries: Sun, Mars, Ketu, Venus.  Sun and Mars are friends, but they are enemies of Saturn.  Mars will be in no mood to play, with its highly combusted situation, in transit.  KETU is good at hiding things.  Mars will be at 9:56 degrees of Aries; the Sun at 11:42 degrees of Aries; Venus at 18:57 degrees Aries and Ketu 22:47 Aries. Opposite across the Zodiac, and within what we call close “orbs of influence” degree wise, will be Saturn (retrograde) at 14:21 degrees Libra, Rahu 22:47 Libra and full Moon 11:42 Libra. It is simply a highly volatile situation.

If ever there was a time that an imbalanced, uncontrollable dictator could launch a series of rockets, it is this month!! A national news program today was discussing that North Korea may in fact, be preparing a simultaneous launch of not just the two or three “obvious” long range missiles parked on its Eastern shore, but perhaps plan other more currently hidden missile launches, with various distance destinations. A blitz, if you will.  Sun and Mars in Aries, with tricky Ketu, could contribute to such actions, especially with the powerful aspects of exalted Saturn, Rahu and the Moon.

The partial Lunar ECLIPSE will be at its fullest at 1:57 p.m. MDT.  Its inauspicious effects will be felt to the greatest degree in the areas in which it will be visible: Eastern Europe, Africa, Central Asia, Western Australia, and eastern parts of South America.  Therefore, we here on mainland USA, should not experience the brunt of whatever turmoil and problems get generated.

Of course, we will also experience two more eclipses next month, May, 2013, but that is a story for another day.

Please contact me if you’d like a 90 minute reading to get a clear idea of what all these changes mean for you. My fee is $180, and I do record the session for you. Thank you, if you have interested friends to pass this blog post along to.

MERCURY goes RETROGRADE on Election Day, November 6, 2012

November 5, 2012

On Tuesday, November 6th at 4:04 p.m. MST, Mercury will go into retrograde motion.

This retrograde period will last until November 26th. How will it impact our national presidential election? There could be confusion and problems with certain polling precincts and ballot tabulations, for one thing.

However, most of the transiting planets look favorable for re-election for our President Barak Obama. Mercury will be “hemmed in by malefics” i.e. a little “sandwich” between malefic Mars and malefic (debilitated) Rahu, in Scorpio.  Interesting that Mercury rules Obama’s 6th house of “enemies, rivals and competitors” and in Scorpio, it is sitting in his 11th house of gain. It also governs his 9th house of Good Luck and Good Fortune, which he should gain a good portion of, from this planetary placement tomorrow.

To also quote a fellow Vedic Astrologer regarding President Obama’s chart for election day (whose name I do not know as this was forwarded to me without that being listed): “In transit, he will have 6 of the 7 planets passing through a Bindu (auspicious) point, in Ashtakavarga, a very positive sign.”

On Inauguration Day, Jan 21, 2013, he will be running Saturn-Saturn-Mercury period; Mercury governs his 9th house (Dharma, luck, fortune) and is well-placed in his chart.”

There has been so much written on the election, and candidates’ birth charts, let us also focus on some other planetary influences which will affect us.

TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE occurs on November 13th, in its sign of debilitation, Libra.  There is a very good website on which you can view the area of the eclipse: http://www.eclipse.gsfc.nasa/gov.

total solar eclipse will be seen from parts of Australia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, South America and Antarctica on November 13–14, 2012. It will be November 14 local time when the eclipse is visible in places west of the International Date Line.  The eclipse starts at 19:38 Universal Time (UT) on November 13 and ends at 00:46 UT on November 14, 2012.

Since this eclipse will not be visible in the USA, it will have less impact on us here.

LUNAR ECLIPSE (penumbral) on November 28, 2012.  Eastern Canada and the USA will miss the eclipse entirely since it begins after moonset. Observers in western Canada and the USA will have the best views (but it is NOT good to look at eclipses!) with moonset occurring sometime after mid-eclipse. To catch the entire event, one must be in Alaska, Hawaii, Australia, or East Asia. The areas in which an eclipse is visible, will receive the most impact from this celestial phenomenon, according to the ancient texts. Unsettling changes, societal disruptions and natural weather or geological disasters often correspond to these events, some time after they occur.
