February 2023 Vedic Astrology Planet Transits

2/05/23 – The Full Moon in Cancer, its own sign, starts the month off with emotions at their height. You may also be craving the comforts of home at this time. Enjoy the fullness of your own feelings.

2/06/23 – MERCURY moves into Capricorn where it will remain until 2/27/23. Here it is in a friend’s sign. Virgos benefit from the transit of the 5th house from their Rising Sign, by the ruler of their chart. Education, teaching, connection with children are highlighted for them during this time. This is not as beneficial a transit for the other sign ruled by Mercury, Gemini, as Capricorn represents their 8th house of Transformation, vulnerability, battles and disunion. Try to hang in there during the challenges!

2/12/2023 – The SUN enters Aquarius. Here it joins Saturn, considered its enemy, and this is Saturn’s own sign, so it is powerful. Saturn will be combust the Sun until 3/05/23. That hinders Saturn’s ability to deliver the positive qualities that are represented by this humanitarian sign. Both Leos (ruled by the Sun) and Aquarians will feel better once the Sun moves into Pisces on 3/14/23. Capricorns, also ruled by Saturn, will feel relief as well.

2/15/23 – VENUS, the great benefic, moves into the sign of Pisces, where it has exalted status. It remains in this favorable position until 3/11/23. Those who benefit the most: Taureans, as this is the ruler of their chart, and it will be crossing their 11th house of gain, income and fulfillment of desire. Those with Pisces Rising or Moon charts – Venus represents their 3rd house, so they will be very eager for creative projects. It also rules their 8th house which can bring some changes and feelings of vulnerability. Venus also rules Libra, but this not a positive transit for our Libra friends, since Pisces is their 6th house of stress, worry, obstacles, enemies, rivals and competitors.

2/27/23 – MERCURY gets out of combustion. It also now moves into Aquarius. This is a positive transit for both signs governed by Mercury, which are Gemini and Virgo. Aquarians may become more talkative now, as communication becomes more important to them. Good luck comes to the Geminis, and the Virgos will enjoy positive energy in their business endeavors, and with partners.
