BIG PLANET CHANGES! Saturn moves into Libra

Saturn only moves every 2 and a half years.

In the wee hours of November 15 (Mountain time), Saturn left Virgo and entered its sign of exaltation, Libra.  It will take a couple of weeks for this slow moving planet to get out of samdhi or “the gap” and far enough into this sign in which it feels the strongest and best, to give its full effects. From this position it now receives the drishti or aspect of benefic Jupiter.  Saturn is giving neecha bhanga yoga or cancellation of debilitation to the Sun which has been in its weakest sign for nearly one month. However on Wednesday, November 16 the Sun moves into Scorpio anyway.

The Sun joins debilitated Rahu, as well as Venus and Mercury in fixed water sign Scorpio.  Those with either Ascendants or Moons in this sign have been feeling major swings and mini-shocks from this north node of the Moon, Rahu, since May 3, 2011.  This is an 18 months transit, so “expect the unexpected” for the rest of this transit.

Just since yesterday did the “planetary war” between Mercury and Venus end. They have been traveling neck in neck (within one degree) for many weeks now, causing an imbalance in the ability to fully perform for these two benefic planets. At least we are out of the woods on that condition now.

Scorpio Ascendants and Moon people will greatly enjoy the “exchange” when the Sun is in Scorpio while Mars is in Leo, as these two strong male energy action planets will bring much personal power to Scorpios! You really have the ability to ‘get it done’ now!

However….wait for it!  MERCURY GOES RETROGRADE (yes, again) on November 24 until December 13th. Try to get important decisions made and business deals completed prior to this cycle, if at all possible.

Now more discussion on the implications of this Saturn move. This planet represents hard-working people, police officers, laborers, the elderly. Having Saturn more powerful for the next 2.5 years should help all of these groups, regain their dignity and power, and yes, hopefully will be good for social security benefits. It will definitely strengthen President Obama’s position, as Saturn rules his chart.

Those with Scorpio Moons, have just entered the 7.5 year Sadhe Sati transit (you can google that to read the definition).  Leo Moon people should experience great relief to be finally done with that condition. Virgo Moon people are now in their last 1/3 of Sadhe Sati, and of course Libra Moon folks have entered the middle 2.5 years of it — which is normally the most demanding segment of the 7.5 years.  However, Saturn is the yogakarika or best planet for Librans, thus it can also bring some very good benefits as well.
